Yesterday we made siapo which is Samoan art. We used brown, red, orange, white and black crayon on brown paper bags. Then we covered it in reddy orange dye.Mrs Pearson helped us do it.
Last week we made these cans called Hairy Herb Heads. First we got a can and Margaret drilled a hole in the bottom of it and we just put some little stones inside the can.Then we choose a colour of paint and we painted our colour on the outside of the can.When it dried we painted a face on and waited until that dried.When it was dry we put googly eyes on.Then Mrs T put some dirt in the cans and some seeds. We will be watching their hair grow!! Felicity
