My dad woke me up really early in the morning to cook the Matariki breakfast. My brother, Dad and I were frying bacon and sausages. I had spaghetti on toast and a sausage. My favourite part was walking to school in the dark.

The rain turned our playground into a paddle pool. It was so deep it went over my ankles. The water was cold and getting muddy but it was fun to splash in.

Every Thursday Mrs Pearson takes us for dance. We have to work together to create movements to music. It is a lot of fun.
Our group did our play today. Me and Flame are gingerbread men. Pad-Thai made a mask for Mrs T.

Our play was called the Three Billy Goats Gruff. I was Billy Goat Two. I thought it was funny because we all wore masks that we had made ourselves.
