Margaret to the Rescue

This lunchtime I got stuck in the toilet because the lock was broken so my friends told the teacher then Margaret came. Then she climbed over the toilet and she jammed the door open. When I came out a lot of people were watching. I was really brave.

It was so freezing cold outside this morning. This was  frozen solid because it was left out overnight. Can you see the icicles glistening?

Some year tens from Nayland College came to act out the play about the book called 'The Boring Book'. My favourite part was when they sang a song using fun words.The author and illustrator is Vasanti Unka and the book is competing for the NZ Post Book Awards.

Cross Country

Yesterday the year 3/4 team and the year 5/6 team walked to the beach to practice for our cross country race next month. We will be walking down every Wednesday so need to make sure we wear our sensible shoes and have a water bottle with us.

Get Set Go

Nathan comes every Tuesday to teach us new PE skills. This term our focus is learning to throw and catch correctly. We have to remember 'Start low, Muscle Man and follow through' when we throw.
